Your role is to lead the tech vision and utilise tech strategy to drive and navigate the challenging payment business environment. What you will do Capture the big picture from stakeholders; sweat out the small details from the cross-functional team. Lead the tech team through the process of designing and solutioning with the aim of creating great products that will delight users. Be the mediator of technical decisions when team consensus isn’t clear or a tie needs to be broken. Speak in both tech and business languages; translate between the two for different stakeholders and teams. Break down complex product requirements into defined user stories and requirements. Technology and Network Infrastructure SpecialistTo apply, send your CV along with a cover letter to hr@paydee.co About the role We need an individual we can rely on as a go-to person for technical implementation and support matters for Paydee’s card payment system and data centers. You’ll play an important role in ensuring that new system functions and features and/or payment terminals undergo thorough testing and certification before going live. What you will do Deploy new features and functionalities, perform post-deployment monitoring and to roll back if required. Monitor system for errors, issues and ensure system performance metrics are within acceptable ranges; making sure that the system is not only up & running but also running at highest / peak performance. Resolve errors & issues. Escalate problems to development team and / or vendor if needed. Perform emergency rescue procedures in cases of system or network disruption. Perform periodic assessment on the network. (e.g. penetration test, vulnerability assessment and system health check). Perform integration, testing and certification with card schemes (e.g. VISA and Mastercard) for payment hosts, point of sales(POS) and other payment terminals. Perform forensic analysis and investigation in the event of disaster or system disruption. Perform system backup and restoration.
